SURPRISE!! I have officially launched my floral preservation studio and I couldn't be more excited. I started my wedding planning business almost 2 full years ago and for 2 years, I have worked with destination brides who come to gorgeous Zion National Park to get married.
These southern Utah brides fly in from all over the U.S to commit their love to each other, smash the cake, dance the night away and create memories that will last them a lifetime. These brides spent a pretty penny on freaking gorgeous floral arrangements that elevate their wedding aesthetic and really pop against their beautiful wedding dresses.... but what happens to those flowers the next day when everyone flies home?
Every time I heard the words "the flowers can just get thrown away" .... my HEART BROKE!
You spend money on the flowers and you're just going to THROW THEM AWAY?! Nope. Not anymore, I won't stand for it.
You hire a professional photographer to capture the magical moments of your wedding day so that you can look back and cherish them for the rest of your life... why not hire someone to preserve the magic of your big day by pressing your bridal bouquet. I can g u a r a n t e e compliments on your home decor when your ACTUAL wedding bouquet is hanging on the walls of your family home next to your wedding photos.
Talk about magic, am I right?!
Have I convinced you yet? Well, let me tell you a little bit about the process.... after your wedding day, you will send your bridal bouquet to me within 48 hours (having kept it in water as much as possible until it's in my hands). From there, I very delicately handle your bouquet, dis-assemble your bouquet, and prep the flowers for the press.
After spending at least 8 weeks in the press, the magic is ready to happen. I very gently piece together an arrangement of your bouquet and get it ready to frame so that I can ship it off to you!
Please note that not all flowers press equally! The process of pressing is to remove all water from the flowers and some flowers will naturally retain more water than others which makes them more difficult to press than others. However, I do my best to press all (or at least part) of every type of flower from your bouquet!
I am a flower-loving, magic-preserving, destination wedding planner outside of Zion National Park and nothing makes me happier than committing to execute and preserve your wedding day.
